Perhaps unbeknownst to some on this forum, collaborative notewatching is something that has actually been occurring frequently amongst members of the Discord chat. Most recently, the thread for Cher was finished in a collaborative effort between Baronessa, alex61 and galaxyseal, and currently the thread of Thom Yorke is being re-researched by myself, Holsety, IhateMana, and others. So I thought it might be useful to have a thread where people could come together and plan out collaborative thread researching.
NOTE: I recommend utilizing Google Docs for this, however DO NOT post the Google Doc link in this thread. There is no need for random user du jour to have the ability to mess around as they please, only users who have agreed to work on the thread may be given the link.
I will get the ball rolling for starters...I am planning on working to finish the Frank Sinatra thread in the coming weeks. However, there are roughly 40 albums still to go through, and I'd like some assistance in going through these so that I can move on to other notewatching projects during my free time over holiday break. If you have interest in helping out with this endeavor, let's discuss it here.
at least 20 sorry bud, and even then there's no way we'd ever find all her albums
kinda figured that and even though i'm not fan, i'm curious what here range is , i know a page going to be made someday and kind of wonder, how would one start this page, the amount of content is beyond intimidating
If anyone is interested in notewatching Ray Charles with me, let me know through PM, and I'll send you the Google Docs link. There's no way I'm going to be able to go through his entire discography alone.
Considering the main section is called "Vocalist Research & Discussion" it would entail that the exchange of information would be indefinite. As long as the majority of the available information is on the thread, I'd consider it 'complete'.
If there are albums that can't easily be heard, then I tend to take that into account when deciding if a thread deserves to be moved to VR&D (especially if they've never been officially released). If all the note watching that can be reasonably done has been completed, then I'd see no issue in regarding that thread as 'complete', including live performances too of course.
