Just an idea I came up with randomly on the Discord yesterday, since I personally find speaking voices interesting and a lot of people seemed to be up for it. Basically this is just a place to show your own speaking voices off by performing a recitation of your choosing. I've given a starting one here, courtesy of our good friend Kevin Perkowitz: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtCNqKfZmsg
"Look at the lonely little thing In the sky A lonely white mass Amid an empty peace Plain sea All the flying planes Until you, my friend Are joined by your cumulus family Goodbye blue skies Hello stormy weather Is this a sign Of a bad moon a-risin' Trouble on the way Watch out all you people Our little white friend has given an omen For nature sure does know Human nature"
My own clip will be posted here in the near future.
picosong.com/raPX/ a very mature, dramatic vocal performance of the all time classic, Pray for Plagues, by the critically acclaimed super group, Bring Me the Horizon. i really miss participating in TPR, but this... why damnit, i just realized we were supposed to read the edgy Perkowitz poem :/
the only thing i hear, is the sound of my opponent's bones crunching alive
Wow, some sexy speaking on this thread. Platypus , your voice sounds remarkably deep and resonant for such a young man - I can imagine you talking like Morgan Freeman before you're 30. Caleb, holy crap your dog is loud!

TheLongShot did say a recitation of your choosing, but I guess a lot of people chose the Perkowitz poem for its irresistible awesomeness. Your laugh is kind of infectious I decided to be a bit non-conformist too, so I recorded one I wrote myself soundcloud.com/irene-mciver/persistence and just for fun, a dramatic reading of an excerpt from a Wikipedia argument soundcloud.com/irene-mciver/eek-vs-eep Sorry the recording quality is crap, I was just using my laptop's built-in mic.
