ok so I'm beginning work on redoing this. I am now including vocal range in it's entirety, as in theory we should not be including a note in a thread that shouldn't be counted towards the singers range (and melodic range is not the sole aspect we should be looking at and it's probably about time we phased out mentioning it in our threads).
Later I will get around to adding more vocalists and bringing down the limit to 3 octaves and 6 semitones.
I have a few questions. Are you including Deranged Place threads (as long as they have accurate research behind them)? Looking at the Robbie Rotten thread in particular. Also, are you including threads like this one which have a different standard of note inclusion?
These are called harmonics. They aren't even real notes! That means we're playing impossible music!
So Brian May is F2-B5, Jim Morrison is C2-E6, Eric Clapton is G♯1-A5 (if you're not allowing fry then it's C2-A5), Bon Scott is A2-E6, Roger Daltrey is B1-C6, John Entwistle is F1-E5, Weird Al Yankovic is D2-A5, and Jeff Buckley is A1-F♯6.
