To make your threads look like they did on the old forum, follow these steps:
1. Paste your thread in the 'BBCode' tab, not the 'Preview' tab, or else you have to fix the spacing. 2. Take your image url out of the old code and put it through the new one. If needed, you can switch between the tabs and change the 'maxwidth' from 100% to something smaller. The image will resize automatically if it's way too big. We strongly recommend you save your images to your computer and upload them to a site like imgur so your pictures stay up. 3. This site doesn't process bullets the same way as Forummotion, so if a thread has bullets, I suggest you paste it in a google drive document, CTRL-F "[*]", and replace with blank text. Make sure to get rid of the list codes as well. 4. Some older threads use a flash code for YouTube videos, so either put the link through the new code or replace the flash text with 'youtube'. 5. Change any text sizes from 9 or 10 to 1. Again, a CTRL-find/replace command is helpful for this.
Also, make sure to remove orange/red from old threads while moving them. Preferably replace purple with underlines. Please mention anything I may have forgotten or haven't noticed so far.
The automatic picture resizing is a very useful feature. As I mentioned on another thread, spoiler tags do work (I initially thought they didn't because there's no clicky button for them and they don't show in previews) but you can't replace the "spoiler" text with your own.
If only it shrinked the size of the picture as well, it's still a pain in the ass for people with slower internet connection. This link provides a spoiler plugin ,which I'm not sure if it's free, that enables users to put color, title etc. to their spoiler tags. Could be pretty useful if we applied it.
I used the censored words menu on this site to add the automatic sharp flats again. Just surround b or # in parentheses. I don't know if this site has a working 'code' box like forummotion. Unlike TRP2, this will actually work without having to space it out.
