A fair amount of inconsistency in the bands - something like "Tapestry" probably doesn't seem like it's on the same level as "Laundry Service".
I am willing to admit that this list is entirely my opinion. It's definitely dominated by the X chromosomes, as I do tend to prefer female singer/songwriters to males. I can admit that something like "Kid A" would probably be considered better than "Ys" by the majority, though as I've mentioned, no hate, pls - opinions.
I wish I was who Björk was singing about in Vespertine.
A quick hunned I made. There are several albums I'm on the verge of including. I choose to omit them either because I just discovered them, I don't know every song that well, or it's a particular group of songs I like.
EDIT: Also, might as well mention it's Revolver and Sgt. Pepper in Mono that I like. The stereo versions can go in second tier.

Did one of these a few years back and decided to redo it after seeing all y'all in the Discord chat showing 'em off:
I kept it to one album per artist since in my case that would lead it to looking incredibly redundant otherwise (i.e. you'd probably see pretty much the entire Alice in Chains discog as well as most of Monster Magnet's make up most of the list if I made one without that restriction). This also isn't really in order of preference other than the first 10 which each represent an album for each of my top 10 bands (which themselves aren't really in order of preference, I just tend to remember them in a specific order).
I did mine! This was like the 3rd attempt this time sticking to one album per artist, so there were definitely several instances where another album by the same band could've gone in the same spot or right next to it (like I often switch between Remedy Lane and TPE as my favorite PoS album or Focus versus Traced in Air for Cynic etc.) but I tried to distill it as best I could. Not perfectly in order but a loose idea and while there are lots of other artists I'd like to showcase I had to try and be as honest as possible which admittedly led to my tastes being revealed VERY overtly in this somewhat one sided list genre wise lol. I'm sure in a year or so I'll come back to this and be in a completely different mood but hey fun is fun.
Also yes I realize I kinda cheated by including a Devin Townsend AND a Devin Townsend Project album but in my defense the styles and lineups aside from Devin himself are completely different!
